Hurricane Bill Ride

Todays outlook goes from partly sunny to 80% chance of showers depending on what site you check for weather. Therefore, in an attempt to forget about the economy and health care for five seconds I hereby dedicate this ride to Hurricane Bill.
Provided nobody else shows up for some EZ fun, I intend to ride from Caledonia to Teaberry in one hour. Rain, shine, bees, whatever. Then I'll ride with the group back to the reservoir and head home. No idea how many miles it is but if you zoom out far enough on the map, these two places are pretty close together. The other thing is that, I'm not even sure they're riding back to the reservoir?! And the kicker ... I'm not even sure if I remeber the trails to get to Teaberry ([:o
See you on a ride soon!

  1. Brian the intrepid mountain biker! Neither Hurricane nor lack of directions shall keep me from my appointed ride!

Well, it took me about 3 hours but I got my IRC Serac tubeless tire mounted up on the rear of my bike. I had read in the forums that the Serac was a bitch to mount and they weren't kidding. I took my time, though, so as not to damage the tire or rim and eventually got it worked out. Looking forward to less weight, lower tire pressures and a cushier ride.

  2. I am definitely riding tomorrow, by the way. Big flat parking lot for the Grave's ridge. Don't think I've ever ridden that before.

  3. I worked on bikes for 2 hours today. It's getting kinda old. I picked up my Black fork from the bike shop. Rebuilt and ready to ride (I hope for years). Anyway I put it on the Fisher and thats what I'm riding tomorrow just to make sure its right. Bled the brakes, replaced the rear pads this time and changed yet another flat on that damn bike. This time I changed the tire too. Anyway, Tuesday I'll break out the Slayer.
